Our Spring concert was a wonderful success. MVWC will join with See Change Treble Choir AND the Minneosta Gay Men’s Chorus on June 21 and 22 @ St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Minneapolis for “This is Me,” a captivating concert experience focusing on a world of inclusivity, artistry, and self-expression.

This Is Me is a unique fusion of choral music and dance designed to challenge the stigma surrounding body image. This concert represents a powerful collaboration between TCGMC, the acclaimed James Sewell Ballet, Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorus and See Change Treble Choir.

 The Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorale presented their spring choral concert on April 26-27 at Grace Lutheran Church in Apple Valley. The MVWC shared the stage with Twin Cities invited guest choir, See Change Treble Choir. The Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorale and See Change performed their own set of music as well as combined for four mass pieces.  Both choirs are dedicated to celebrating and sharing the strength and creativity of women through song, and performed an evening of great choral music performed by two outstanding treble choirs

Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorale See Change Treble Choir


The Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorale, a community treble choir was founded in 2011 by Artistic Director, Judy Sagen. The chorale has performed at ACDA Fall Conferences in 2014, 2017, and 2022 and the Northern Voice Festival at the Ordway Theater in St. Paul. They have collaborated with guest artists such as Broadway star, Laura Osnes and Twin cities gospel legend Robert Robinson. They award scholarships annually to senior treble singers who choose to continue singing beyond high school. Each year the MVWC joins forces with the Minnesota Valley Men’s Chorale and other guest choirs.

The Minnesota Valley Women’s Chorale honors the tradition of performing quality choral music that centers on a community that sings together and introduces audiences to the power and beauty of the treble repertoire.

Diverse in culture, religion, age, race, belief, and sexual identity, we are a chorus committed to commissioning new choral works and raising awareness about issues that affect us as a choir. Through music, we aim to create a world that affirms the worth and dignity of every person.
